Cancellation Policy For All Treatments

Our appointments are very important to us at Sam's Beauty Salon – it is time reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes time and date adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 business hours' notice for any changes or cancellations prior to the confirmed appointment.  

Less than 24 business hours' notice and no-shows will result in a loss of the non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy For All Training

For all training courses a non-refundable £100 deposit will be required at the time of booking. Final balance will be required 7 days prior to the course date. If the final balance is not paid 7 days in advance, the booking will be cancelled and loss of the non-refundable deposit will result.

We understand that sometimes adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 8 days' notice for time and date changes. Changes cannot be made once final balance and enrolment have been processed. Cancellations made before final balance is paid will result in loss of the non-refundable deposit; cancellations made after final balance is paid will result in loss of all monies paid.

 

In exceptional circumstances Sam's Beauty Salon will review these conditions.
 

General Terms & Conditions

Your place on the course will not be confirmed until cleared funds and a completed registration form have been received.

Once we have processed your booking, we will issue a booking confirmation to the email address provided or in a letter to the address on the enrolment form.

Payment can be made by credit/debit card or PayPal. You are also able to pay by BACS – please contact us if you wish to pay by this method.

Course attendance, and getting to and from Sam's Beauty Salon, are the responsibility of the student.

Sam's Beauty Salon will provide all the necessary materials and equipment on the practical training day. Additional items and kits can be purchased on the day if required.

Sam's Beauty Salon will make every endeavour to meet any special requests that have been notified in advance at the time of booking.

Free tea, coffee, water and snacks will be provided during the day. However, it is the responsibility of the student to bring their own lunch. Please advise us at your earliest convenience if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.

Pre-Course Home Study

All courses require pre-course home study to be completed prior to the practical, as detailed in the course description. A unique code will be issued to you in your confirmation email along with the link to the relevant pages.

Sam's Beauty Salon is accredited by the Guild Of Beauty Therapists. All courses and training are fully certified by the Guild.

Sam's Beauty Salon reserves the right to cancel courses due to circumstances outside of our control. In the event of this happening, students will be given as much notice as possible and offered either (a) a place on a future course, or (b) a full refund of any course fees paid. Likewise, Sam's Academy reserves the right to relocate a course to a different venue should circumstances beyond our control dictate. Notice will be given to students as soon as is practical.

 

Failure Policy

If a student fails to achieve the required standard on a training course, we will do everything in our power to help them pass. However, this is not always possible and in these cases we can offer the student extra days to train to help them pass (subject to a trainer being available). Additional cost will be discussed and agreed with the student on the day of failure.

A certificate will not be issued until the student has passed the course.
